BUILDING TECHNOLOGY

The Kanbar Campus Center is well equipped with technology resources. Specific resources are listed above by room. In addition, the building is on our wireless network throughout (Please note that in order for anyone/guests to access the network from outside the University community, arrangements must be made through OIR (The Office of Information Resources) to obtain a username and password.

A laptop computer is available to be used in the conference rooms and in the Performance Space. The laptop must be requested and is available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

OTHER IMPORTANT FACILITY INFORMATION

The Kanbar Terrace has no furniture and availability of University furniture is limited. Furniture rentals may be required for approved events.

Certain areas of the building require special approval. All requests are reviewed by the Director of the Campus Center and Student Activities. Additional event information may be required and/or a meeting may be needed to discuss the details of the request.

Any requested area in the Kanbar Campus Center considered a “Common Space” is approved on a limited basis only. Limiting the use of “Common Areas” for events is essential in our efforts to keep the building’s operations and services available to students and the campus community at all times during scheduled hours. The following are considered “Common Spaces”: Balcony, Living Room, Lockyer Lounge, Ted’s, the Miller Lounge and Common Thread.
