Parent Orientation

We are also pleased to welcome parents and family members to the Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) Community and want to extend that welcome at our Parent/Family Member/Guest New Student Orientation (NSO) Program.

Schedule for the Winter Orientation Parent/Family/Guest Program

Guests can expect to be on campus from 9:00am until 1:00pm but timing of departure is dependant on when your student finishes their advising session. The guest fee is $30 per person and includes breakfast and lunch.

Schedule for the Summer Orientation Parent/Family/Guest Program

The program runs concurrent with the student program. Guests can expect to be on campus from 8:30am until 4:00pm on the first day. Guests may see the residence hall when their student checks in at 4pm and are welcome to eat dinner with their student in the Dining Hall.  There is an optional two hour trolley tour of Philadelphia after dinner which is included in the guest fee for NSO.  The second day runs from 8:30am until around 12:00pm.  Departure will be dependant on when the student has completed advising and checked out of the residence hall. The guest fee is $60 per person and includes 5 meals, a reception, and the trolley tour.
