The Kanbar Campus Center provides students, faculty and staff with multiple conference rooms; a 192 seat flexible, multi-purpose room; the University Bookstore; Mail Services; a dedicated Prayer/Meditation Space; Convenience Store; Ted’s cafe / recreation area and the Common Thread, which is the primary dining facility on the main campus. This award winning building is the living room of the campus and offers numerous areas to sit, relax, study and just "hang out". It serves as the enduring centerpiece of the Jefferson campus and as a hub for learning, culture and social activity for the campus community. Student Life offices in the building include the Office of Student Engagement, the Dean of Students, Counseling Services, International Student Programs, Student Accessibility Services, Community Service programs, Spiritual Development, Career Services and Residence Life. Other offices located in the building include the Internship Program, Study Away, Jefferson's Bridge Program and the Center for Teaching Innovation and Nexus Learning.

The Kanbar Campus Center serves as a focus for campus information. The Welcome and Information Desk, near the entrance of the building, is staffed with student Building Managers during all scheduled building hours who provide event support as well as answer any questions you might have regarding the campus or the city of Philadelphia. The Welcome and Information Desk also provides multiple services for students including the signing out of board games, Wii entertainment and pool and ping-pong equipment.  SEPTA tokens and discount movie passes can be purchased at the desk. In addition, you can obtain your campus ID by visiting the desk during building hours.

A TD Bank Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is located in the Kanbar Campus Center near the Campus Bookstore.

Lost & Found: Lost items may be found at the Welcome and Information Desk of the Kanbar Campus Center. Articles that have been turned in are retained for one semester. Students may also log missing items; the student will be called if the item is turned in to Lost & Found.
