Annual Design Expo 

Junior and senior design-discipline students seeking post-college jobs and internships have an unique opportunity to show their portfolios and best work to over 50 firms at the Annual Design Expo held on campus.

Recent company visits include:

Abercrombie & Fitch- company presentation and assignment challenge: select students were then awarded internships and full time positions.

Target- recruiting presentation: Target headquarters regularly recruits our textile design students for internships and full time opportunities in their print and fabric development departments.

Nike- portfolio and recruitment rresentation: Nike representatives come to campus to present corporate opportunities and recruit interns and full time employees. 

Lilly Pulitzer- portfolio presentation: Representatives from Lilly Pulitzer share their knowledge and experience regarding design portfolios and presentation tips, as well as discuss the path toward internships with the company.

Annual Textile Show and Design Show
Textile designers participate in senior shows at the completion of their degree.  Textile Design holds an annual show in December, to showcase the work of designers who are completing their degree in December.  In May, Textile Designers participate in a university-wide Design Show, highlighting work of all graduating design majors. 

Annual Fashion Show at the Academy of Music in Center City Philadelphia
Textile design students participate in this exciting, annual event by developing garments and also through collaboration with fashion design majors.  Textile design students create original fabrics that fashion designers develop into garments.  All garments are juried for inclusion in the Annual Fashion Show.
