A Message from Dean Brookstein
Textiles are all around us - the clothes we wear, the furnishings in our home, the fabrics in our automobiles and airplanes and the shoes we wear. Each of these applications has unique textile design requirements. Philadelphia University, since 1884, has been the leading institution of higher education that offers exciting educational programs for students to learn about textile design.
Our faculty and students have developed this exciting new website that will give you an opportunity to learn more about this creative field of study. As you navigate this site you will have an opportunity to learn more about our state-of-the-art facilities, our outstanding educational programs, our world renowned faculty and see examples of some of our students' work. It will also give you e-mail addresses of contacts on our campus that can better inform you about this field of study.
So if you are artistically inclined, interested in spectacular career opportunities, and would like to study in one of the world's finest schools dealing with textiles, I welcome you to apply for acceptance.
