Engineering and Design Institute receives 2004 "Leadership in Sustainable Building" award from the Pennsylvania Resource Council

Philadelphia University Research Center (PURC) opens for business This new Center will join together several key departments that are working together on a wide variety of Sustainability issues and research topics. In addition to the Institute other spaces include in the space are the Composites Lab, Non-wovens Design and Engineering Lab
and the international recognized Grundy Lab. The Center is located in an historic textile mill in the heart of Manayunk.
