Philadelphia University student publication, Open: A Writing and Design Collaboration, wins University and College Design Association’s (UCDA) Award of Excellence in 2005 Design Competition

For the writing and design students behind the project, this achievement marks their second win in two years. Recent Graphic Design Communication graduates Ryan Becker and Tess Orgasan designed and produced the project during their Advanced Publication Design course this past spring. Its creation involved the work of over 20 student writers and support from faculty and staff across the University.

A reception celebrating Open’s second award-winning issue will be held in the Paul J. Gutman Library on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
