Philadelphia University Finance Professor Named Editor of International Journal
Philadelphia University Professor of Finance
Davinder “DK” Malhotra has been
named co-editor of the International Journal of
Finance.
Chosen
for the position for his research and contributions
in the finance field, Prof. Malhotra has served as
guest editor for the academic journal in the past.
As co-editor, he will coordinate the review process
for paper submissions, as well as decide which
papers the Journal will feature. Prof.
Malhotra joins an editorial board comprised of
fellow finance academicians and researchers from top
research universities throughout the United States,
including 1990 Noble Prize winner for economics
Harry Markowitz.
“I believe the journal will provide global
visibility to our University, said Prof. Malhotra.
"It reinforces the confidence that the academic
community places in the quality and rigor of
Philadelphia University’s academic programs and
faculty.”
Interested in a variety of finance research topics,
Prof. Malhotra has published over 50 research
journal articles and has presented more than 80
research papers nationally and internationally. His
most resent research includes the evaluation of cost
efficiencies in the mutual fund industry. He has
also participated in two National Textile Center
(NTC) projects, Optimal Investment Strategies for
Enhanced Productivity in the Textile Industry
and Strategies for Increasing Competitiveness of
the Domestic Textile and Apparel Industries: A
Production-Cost Approach. For the past four
years, he has received the Outstanding Research
Award by Philadelphia University’s School of
Business Administration. |
