Philadelphia University Finance Professor Named
Editor of International Journal

Philadelphia University Professor of Finance Davinder “DK” Malhotra has been named co-editor of the International Journal of Finance.

Chosen for the position for his research and contributions in the finance field, Prof. Malhotra has served as guest editor for the academic journal in the past. As co-editor, he will coordinate the review process for paper submissions, as well as decide which papers the Journal will feature. Prof. Malhotra joins an editorial board comprised of fellow finance academicians and researchers from top research universities throughout the United States, including 1990 Noble Prize winner for economics Harry Markowitz.

“I believe the journal will provide global visibility to our University, said Prof. Malhotra. "It reinforces the confidence that the academic community places in the quality and rigor of Philadelphia University’s academic programs and faculty.”

Interested in a variety of finance research topics, Prof. Malhotra has published over 50 research journal articles and has presented more than 80 research papers nationally and internationally. His most resent research includes the evaluation of cost efficiencies in the mutual fund industry. He has also participated in two National Textile Center (NTC) projects, Optimal Investment Strategies for Enhanced Productivity in the Textile Industry and Strategies for Increasing Competitiveness of the Domestic Textile and Apparel Industries: A Production-Cost Approach. For the past four years, he has received the Outstanding Research Award by Philadelphia University’s School of Business Administration.
