interior decorating certificate program

Have you always been interested in creating beautiful spaces?
Are you the one your friends call when they want decorating advice?

Then you should consider enrolling in Philadelphia University’s Interior Decorating Certificate Program. This non-credit program is geared toward those who wish to gain knowledge of the essentials of interior decorating, either for use in a career or for personal enrichment. The eight required courses, as well as optional elective courses, prepare students for an entry-level position in the interior decorating field.  A certificate of completion will be awarded to students successfully completing the eight-course sequence.

Class handouts and some materials are included in the course fees. Some classes may require the purchase of books or other materials. Students can complete the program at their own pace and are encouraged to not take more than a few classes at a time.   Most classes are offered in the evening; however, occasionally, some courses may be held in the day-time or on a Saturday.  Course offerings vary per semester and not all courses are offered every semester.  Students should refer below for schedule of course offerings and required prequisites. Certain day-time field trips are required; dates are listed in the current schedule.
