Diploma FAQs

When will my diploma be available?

All diplomas for East Falls students are available 8-10 weeks after the date of graduation for each semester. Diplomas will be mailed to the address provided by the student on the graduation application, unless otherwise specified by the student. Students may also pick up their diploma in the East Falls Campus Registrar’s Office. To arrange a diploma pickup, please email TJU_EF_Registrar@jefferson.edu before the end of your last semester, or enter "East Falls Registrar's Office" as your diploma mailing address on the application for graduation.

What if I need a reprinted diploma?

Students are able to have a reprinted diploma should they need a replacement. Please note that if you graduated from East Falls prior to the merger with Thomas Jefferson University (if your graduation term was prior to Summer 2017), you are only able to receive a reprinted diploma under the name "Philadelphia University."

The cost for a replacement diploma is $50 for a replacement Associates, Bachelor's, or Master's diploma, and $90 for a PhD diploma. 

Checks may be made payable to the Thomas Jefferson University Registrar's Office.

In order to request a reprint of your diploma, we require a notarized letter with the following information:

  1. Your name as you would like it printed on the diploma
  2. The reason why you need a diploma reprint
  3. Your social security number
  4. The date and year of your graduation
  5. The degree that you graduated with and program (if applicable)
  6. The address where you would like the diploma sent (diplomas cannot be mailed to P.O. Boxes)
  7. Current phone number
  8. Current email address
