The Office of Information Technology is pleased to announce that two major suppliers of computing hardware, Gateway and Apple have agreed to extend their higher education discount pricing to Philadelphia University students.
Students will be required to provide proof of affiliation with a valid Philadelphia University ID.

Select Student Microsoft Campus Agreement
The Select Student Microsoft Campus Agreement is an annual licensing program specially created to address the unique needs of
higher education institutions and their students. The Campus Agreement gives higher education institution employees and students
the right to run the licensed software on all their home computers for a 12-month period, and automatically licenses all upgrades of
the software throughout the terms of the Agreement. This includes software such as Windows Operating System Upgrades (i.e.,
Windows XP) and Microsoft Office (i.e., 2003, Office for MAC).
This software MUST be purchased online, thereafter it will then be shipped to you.

The Office of Information Technology DOES NOT provide hardware support of any kind for student machines or printers.
If you are experiancing hardware problems, we strongly recomend that you first contact your hardware manufacturer. They will be able to provide you with the best service for your spicific piece of hardware.
If however you are out of warenty or would prefer another solution, Philadelphia University has an agreement with The Computer Fixer to provide these services.
The Computer Fixer offers discounted rates for Philadelphia University students, fast turn-around time, detailed estimates prior to repairing, certified experienced technicians, and two convenient locations for carry-in (Drexel and University of Pennsylvania), and is also an authorized warranty repair center for various pc manufacturers.
