    The Delaware Valley Green Building Council, a chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, was formed in November 2001 at historic Carpenter’s Hall in Philadelphia to advance and promote sustainable and environmentally responsible planning, design, construction and operation of the region’s buildings, landscapes, cities and communities, mindful of the legacy left for future generations.
