Student Email (Outlook Live)
Microsoft Outlook Live@Edu is a hosted service that provides email accounts for PhilaU students. You can access your email by going to http://www.philau.edu/webmail and click on the link for Outlook Live Email. This Email address is avery important communication tool at Philadelphia University. It allows for easy communication between Faculty and Staff with Students.
Accessing Your Email:
You can sign in Online at: http://mail.philau.edu/start
To log in use the following information (Note: Your "Username" is the same login for Webadvisor and Blackboard)
Windows Live ID: Username@mail.philau.edu
Password: The same password you use to log in to Webadvisor and Blackboard
(Your password initially is your your six-digit date of birth. For example, if you were born on January 31, 1992, your password would be 013192. To reset your password Click Here)

Quota and Limitations:
The capacity of your Outlook Live account is 25 GB of storage. It can send attachments up to 25 MB in size.

Skydrive
Skydrive is a virtual storage cloud that comes with your Outlook Live Email account. This lets you store photos and docs online. Access them from any PC, Mac or phone. Create and work together on Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents. To log in use your email log-in information and sign on at "https://skydrive.live.com/"

Sending Large Documents Over the Internet
When sending files over the Internet email restricts you to a maximum file size of 25MB. Many times you will need to send files that are larger than that to professors and other students. The services below are available to upload and send those large files by email.
(Note: These are 3rd Party sites. All information and programs are not related to or in any way connected with Philadelphia University)
Sendspace - Allows users to upload files to Sendspace's server and then downloaded by anyone who has the download link.
Dropbox - Allows users to upload files to be available on any Internet ready device. It also allows user to upload to a public folder that can then be sent as an email to various recipients.
